As your birth photographer you can expect me to laugh with you, cry with you, and read the room with intuition, capturing moments you didn't expect (and all the ones you did). From quiet strength to the joyful first meeting, I'll document your unique birth story in a way that feels honest, powerful, and deeply personal.
When it comes to family and motherhood sessions, I bring my documentary-style eye to the beauty of everyday life. Capturing the love, those in-between moments, and little details that make your life yours. Whether we’re in your favorite cozy corner at home or out exploring together, my goal is to create images that feel as real and alive as the moment itself.
Booking a Birth
Booking a birth session is a more detailed and personalized process than other types of photography. There’s a lot to cover, questions to answer, and possibilities to prepare for so you feel completely supported. See below.
Birth Session Process
What to Expect:
- Check availability early. Reach out as soon as you know your due date to secure your spot. I book 3 birth sessions per month, max.
- Consultation call. We’ll chat through your birth plan, preferences, and any questions you have to make sure you feel fully secure moving forward.
- Booking & contract. Once your date is reserved, we’ll take care of the paperwork so you can focus on preparing for baby.
- On-call commitment. I’ll be on-call 24/7 from 38 weeks until the moment you’re in labor. My bag is packed and I'm ready to drive to you asap.
- Full birth coverage. I’ll join you in active labor and stay up to two hours postpartum, capturing those first, unforgettable moments with your baby.
- Delivery. Expect your completed gallery or film within 4 weeks and be ready to marvel over your strength and all your baby's tiniest details.

I’m just as excited to deliver your photos as you are to see them! You’ll get a beautiful online gallery ready to view, download, and share. If we’ve worked together before, I’d be so grateful if you left a review!

01. HOW DOES BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY WORK?
Contact me to inquire about my availability around your due date. I'll send you my personalized questionnaire to get us started and then we'll pick a day to get to know each other over a call or in-person. When you decide to book with me I will send you our contract, deposit request, and put you in the books! I will be on-call for you 24/7 to film or photograph your birth story starting from 38-weeks gestation.
02. WHAT DOES BEING "ON-CALL" MEAN?
When early labor begins... CALL ME! In the middle of the night or day... CALL ME. My batteries are charged and my go-bag is ready for me to jump in the car and capture your birth from the earliest moments possible. When you book with me I will be on-call, starting at 38 weeks gestation, ready to drive to your birthing location at a moments notice.
03. DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ONLY BIRTHS?
No! Along with birth I love to document family and motherhood. This can include maternity sessions, Fresh 48's, at home newborn sessions, milestones, family sessions, and more. Check out my portfolio!
04. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK YOU?
Expecting mamas, book me as soon as you have a due date! I take only 3 birth clients a month so the earlier the better. For other session types, fill out my contact form and let me know your interests and availabilities.
05. Will you share my film or images online?
Giving birth is a powerfully intimate, emotional, and... naked experience. Unless otherwise requested (crowning, breastfeeding, etc) it is very easy for me and my camera to avoid capturing your southern bits. Absolutely NO content will ever be shared publicly without prior written or verbal permission from you. Though, I do hope you'll allow me to share parts of your journey so others can benefit from your story!
